>>5118870They're smaller but they're still like 2x your body weight and have sharp claws.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_by_coconutWhere's our thread in remembrance of those killed by falling coconuts?
>>5118870Or that burgers are generally much more retarded and don't know how to handle wildlife. Slavic Euros simply just knows

>>5118870Black Bears are dangerous and should be treated with caution and respect. Unlike Grizzlies, Black Bears are known for stalking and being highly opportunistic. In one case back in the 1970s in Canada, a Black Bear stalked and killed three teenage boys one after the other. Just because they’re smaller (and the ones in North America won’t be much smaller than the European Brown Bear mentioned in OP) means nothing.
>>5118848To put on wall.
>>5118848to sell it to hunters and collectors I bet
>>5118870Bears kill animals to survive, they are good at it. You can tell because they are not dead.

>>5118870>It surprised me that there are also quite a few young men among those killed by black bears. I'm not a burger, are black bears that dangerous? There are like 600,000 black bears in the lower 48 and southern Canada and most of the time they act like giant raccoons so it's easy to get comfortable around them. Someone runs across bears half a dozen times in their life and every time shouting scares them away so they don't carry a gun or even bear spray and if it's their bad luck to come across that one bear who decides that actually they WOULD like to see what a person tastes like, they get killed and eaten. If you look at the list, there are a lot of senior citizens and children on there as well as people feeding bears, self-proclaimed "bear experts" and other foolishness like that as well as a lot of attacks happening in the middle of nowhere to people by themselves.
