Which animal myths need to die in your opinion? Recently I just found out that not only the nuptial cannibalism isn't universal in praying mantises but it's quite rare in nature as oposed to in captivity where the male has no way to escape from the female.

She was pretty fat even before eating him. It might be rare to get a picture like this, but female mantises eating their mates is not rare, it's common.
