Why are most animals appealing to look at? We don't reproduce with them, so there's no biological incentive there.
probably so humans do not murder them (and then humans still murder them)
>>5132927if there are no animals at all in an area it may indicate gigamurder rapemachine 8000 is nearby. so plentiful animals = good place to bejust my theory
>>5132956Wouldn't gigamurder rapemachine 8000 after the job is donejust instantly move anywhere else where there are still plenty?
>>5132927they cute
>>5132927Because non human animals are basically children (they look like them, they act like them and they think like them) and we are programmed to love children.
>>5132927Try and apply that to invertebrates or sea life broadly.
>>5132927Because they are a food source and because God filled this world with beautiful creatures for man to muse over.
>>5132986tard
>>5132927Most animals are bugs and fish and arent particulary appealing to look at
think we evolved specifically to find most things cute because if we didn't, we'd be going around bashing our own babies to death like other mammals very commonly do
>>5133289We kill our own babies all the time
>>5132927Kindly don't fuck the deer that's so appealing to you.
>>5133291And thats a good thing, chud
>>5132927Maybe you don't know if they are friend or foe so you're more interested in looking at them than for example a tree since every animal is a potential risk you maybe need to fight or run away from. So it makes biologically sense to look at them
>>5132927>We don't reproduce with them, so there's no biological incentive there.>posts doe
>>5133334No can do, boss.
>>5133336I honestly dont care
>>5133578Hopefully we can legalize late term abortions so your parents can finally fix their mistake
>>5132927Because they're made in the Image of God so they reflect His Perfection
>>5132927Humans have affected their evolution like cats and dogs just not to the same degree. But since humans emerged they wiped out many species including all the megafauna except for elephants. Various animals survived the human world wide expansion by evolving cuteness which allows it to bypass humans artificial selection pressure. We allow raccoons and squirrels and birds because we like them. Bugs didn't need to evolve cuteness because they bypass human selection pressure by being too small to catch or eradicate. Deep sea animals aren't cute because humans never expanded there.
>>5132970>Because non human animals are basically childrenAnimals aren't children and this anthropomorphism is what people use to justify normalized animal mistreatment
>>5133597why are you mad?
>>5132956Plausible. Birds scattering is a signal for danger so ubiquitous it's cliche. >>5132957You're the plenty, anon. Look to the left of you, look to the right of you, 1 out of 3 animals are eaten by Jaws McMarrowlick, if there are no other animals around you're next.
