I've only ever had one cat and I'm kind of spooked to have 2 at once. Is there anything I can do to make them feel more confertable day 1? If they completely hide from me ubder my bed should I just leave them alone in the room together? They're brother and sister and their pre pair bonded so I don't have to worry about leaving them alone together. Any and all advice is appreciated from experienced cat bros. Pic related is the brother.

Don't approach their area if you can avoid it. When you do, don't acknowledge or look at them, just try to be a neutral presence. Slowly, over days/weeks work up to looking at them, etc.It might only take a week, or it could take months. The cat I got recently was a street stray and I can only pet her paw with one finger after half a year. She's just very fearful.

Hold your hand out and let them smell it, cats rely on their sense of smell more than sight, they will want to know your hand in clean before you touch them. Cats naturally try to find hidden places to sleep for safety, especially kittens. Get a box for them to feel safe in. Get string and wave/pull it around for them to play with
