i think it was only a year or so ago, when I discovered that there were a bunch of fancy looking ones.I'd actually seen these types in person but i only found out much later they were also cockroaches.

In fact I'm fond of quite a few of them. But fucking cockroaches nope. Weirdly I don't feel that way about Madagascar hissing cockroaches. But any of them that are flat and have those hairy fucking legs and those ugly ass antennae. The way they move. Just disgusting. They illicit a kind of disgust in me that other insects just don't create. And I'm not just talking about house cockroaches. I'm talking about tropical species kept as pets and everything. Every cockroach in this thread disgusts me.
Why do these look like beetles? You wouldn't think that they're cockroaches.

got bad experiences hanging around the pest species for a long time. but other types look cool, so currently trying to get past the inherent hate i feel towards them. i like the hissing ones. the thumbnail one looks pretty
There were all kinds of cool colorful cockroaches at the expo I went to, makes me want to own some.
