Hey anons,I've been going through the archive from my trail cams in coastal Oregon.I've only captured cougars twice so far, and I'm curious what people think.Questions:* Same individual or different animals?* Male or female?* Approximate age?* Any clues from body shape, gait, tail carriage, proportions, etc.?For context, these cameras regularly catch deer, rabbits, coyotes, bobcats, and black bears, but cougar sightings are pretty rare.First sighting — July 22, 2024https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HdNCse0vUMSecond sighting — September 19, 2024https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO8qh41xflgInterested in hearing from anyone with cougar tracking, hunting, wildlife, or camera-trap experience.

>>5137108Same cat.Markings are regional but that tail is identical in both videos.Gate is too similar.Extra weight in second video is from .months of summer feasting on 2024's crop of rabbits and quail. Its a female, testicles on an adult male would be visible in video.Just my own opinion from watching my game cams and seeing cougars in person.
