Few years ago when I was in college, I asked /an/ if hamster is a good pet for starter pet owner, and the thread made me conclude that I'm simply too broke and student. Now I'm a working man with somehow even smaller room but enough disposable income, am I good enough, any tips?
>>5137208this doesn't answer your question at all, but how was college, anon?
>>5137211My field was bio and I took as many classes so that I could graduate 3.5 years, but depression made my thesis turnt from a 2 month project into 1 year.I ended up neet-ing for 2 years after because no jobs + depression.Eventually I became a small time clerk in a sports company, I just got promoted into becoming the finance guy but it looks like this company is gonna go under in less than a year so no rest for me haha.Anyway how was your day anon?
>>5137208They have short little lives, just make sure you're emotionally prepared for that.
>>5137208I don’t understand what you mean by “starter pet”. You mean something you don’t want to commit to for 10+ years? If you’re set on getting a pet, why not just get a cat or a dog? Why bother with a hamster?
>>5137236If you live in a small room you shouldn't have pets
>>5137214>becoming the finance guy>company is gonna go under in less than a yearAnon, are these things related? On a serious note, have you considered rats? They're a lot more social than hamsters and similar life span
>>5137288It's unfortunate timing tho I think me actually handling the records further visualize the state of the company.Wouldn't rats need even more space tho? I heard they're even more active than hamsters too so I would feel bad leaving them in a medium cage in my tiny apartement.
>>5137208>>5137319You should give your hamster a frog buddy or more specifically a pac-man or giant African bullfrog. They play very well together.
