Hello /an/ my chicken Abraxas currently 4 weeks old is starting to develop O-shaped legs. It started about a week ago but because she also had coccidiosis at the same time, I kind of thought that all her walking issues came from that.
Doesn't seem to be the case after all. She doesn't like jumping up or down and sits down a lot.

Any ideas? Already gave her Vit D, E and A and tomorrow I won't allow her to run with the rest of the flock so she can recover a little and not get peer pressured into walking all day.

O-Shaped legs in pic not included.

I don't know man, I asked the computer on your behalf.

I asked the computer before you guys but none of that applies to my situation. She's older than a few days, so it's not splayed legs. She did receive vitamins now. Thought anyone might have had such a situation before.

Thank you still

My first thought is metabolic bone disease but other than that idk

Don't risk the wrong advice anon. Your chicken needs to see a vet because /an/ cannot perform a physical examination. It could be splaying due to strains/injury, it could be a micronutrient deficiency, it might be neurological, it could something else. All with different treatments. It's impossible to tell from the other side of the screen.

thank you. Vet appointment is booked for Tuesday. I am so attached to the little one already cause she's my only hen out of this year's hatch...

I thought so too. Gave her Vit D already.
