Hello /an/ my chicken Abraxas currently 4 weeks old is starting to develop O-shaped legs. It started about a week ago but because she also had coccidiosis at the same time, I kind of thought that all her walking issues came from that. Doesn't seem to be the case after all. She doesn't like jumping up or down and sits down a lot. Any ideas? Already gave her Vit D, E and A and tomorrow I won't allow her to run with the rest of the flock so she can recover a little and not get peer pressured into walking all day. O-Shaped legs in pic not included.
I don't know man, I asked the computer on your behalf.
>>5137892I asked the computer before you guys but none of that applies to my situation. She's older than a few days, so it's not splayed legs. She did receive vitamins now. Thought anyone might have had such a situation before. Thank you still
>>5137805My first thought is metabolic bone disease but other than that idk
>>5137805Don't risk the wrong advice anon. Your chicken needs to see a vet because /an/ cannot perform a physical examination. It could be splaying due to strains/injury, it could be a micronutrient deficiency, it might be neurological, it could something else. All with different treatments. It's impossible to tell from the other side of the screen.
>>5137976thank you. Vet appointment is booked for Tuesday. I am so attached to the little one already cause she's my only hen out of this year's hatch...>>5137910I thought so too. Gave her Vit D already.
