Has anyone here been saved by an animal before? When I was 10 my bullmastiff saved me from a headlock from a black schoolmate - he was terrified of the dog. Post your stories below:
My family had a half German Shepherd Quarter Chow something else mix who could be a little nippy but she was a loving protective dog. My mother told me when I was at elementary school (this was around 2004ish?), my father was at work and she was home alone two guys attempted to break into the house while she was asleep at noon. Burglar bob tried to break in through the living room window which only opened laterally half way not enough for an adult man to squeeze through. burglar billy tried to hop the fence to break in through the back. From what I remember her explaining the first guy pushed in the screen door and holly immediately sank her teeth into his arm and their tussle woke her up. we didn't have a real fire arm at home but picked up the ruger break-action pellet gun from my room and threatened to drop them dead and they both fucked off. If holly weren't there who knows what could've happened. The other instance she saved me from my brothers retarded dog. The antagonist is of course a Rottweiler Pitbull mix that jumped all over the place and attacked me a couple times. One of those times I was outside taking the dogs out during the winter and the rottie abruptly lunged at me outside, pinned me against the fence and started biting at my head (context here Im 8yo wrapped in layers of a snow suit and can't move much). I was screaming for help in the backyard and the only one that heard me was holly who came bolting over spearing into the other dog sending him flying across the ice . Don't have any photos of her anymore but this one I found on Google is pretty close, make the hair slightly more orange and the ears a little longer / droopier with a black trim. She was a good dog I had a lot of adventures with.

>>5137815>be me walking in forest near coastal Maine >dog gets in front of me and her fur goes up>she growled and pushed me back>I said NOPE and got the fuck out asap

>>5138022It might be scientifically accurate, but it's still not nice to call your friend an animal.
