Poles have a dish named after pidgeons but as far as I know they have never used actual pidgeon meat for it.

In Hungary some people raise them for meat and make soup out if them.

Feral pigeons are full of chemicals, heavy metals, toxins and whatever random shit they eat off the ground. Also more trouble than it's worth killing them in public and then justifying it to police that it was for purposes of consumption.

Some breeds of pigeon are raised for consumption, but under more controlled environments.
