It's a mental/neuro disorder from the breed.

>Issues such as some individuals will have a slight head tilt, others will be unable to detect whether they are upside down, unable to move in a straight line “side-to side head tremors, incoordination, erratic corkscrewing of the head and neck, inhibited righting reflex, torticollis (neck spasms), poor muscle tone, and loose grip with the tail” as well as difficulty striking and eating prey have all been reported in the spider morph. These are obvious health concerns that are not naturally found in the ball python, nor in most other morphs (some exceptions). The welfare of snakes with the spider gene are negatively impacted by the neurological disorder for the reasons stated above. They are unable to have normal ball python lives and complete their natural behaviors. Furthermore, the wobble periodically worsens during stimulating or stressful activities, such as during feeding or handling. It has been observed that the wobble may have a positive feedback loop as well, meaning that the wobble worsens as the snake begins to wobble more. The severity an individual will suffer when inheriting the gene is not easy to predict, this makes breeding the gene a lottery gamble for how well individuals will thrive from a slight title to no motor control. It is a dominant gene.

>>5138833

>>
>>5138862
Spitz breeds are way better than wolves and are the only way you can have wolves at all because otherwise we’re killin’ them off
>>

>what's the history on these? for some reason I thought they were just sorta like that. is this the result of human intervention?
They've been selectively bred to produce both large amounts of milk and meat. Still doesn't explain the fucked up face but I guess that just wasn't a priority.

theres gotta be examples of animals but I cannot come up with any. possibly some horses but don't know much about them.
>>5138874
apparently they also breed them for shows so its probably much the same story as toadlines where they started out being bred for a purpose but then it just devolved into 'how much can we fuck up this poor animal for teh luls'
>>5138879

The crest in crested duck breeds is caused by having a hole in their skull which can cause regular seizures

>The Herd has decided to have you hung by your entrails and your corpse paraded through the Farm. But, ultimately, the terms of your execution are up to me.

>Indeed. Do you know where we are?
>>...the Mausoleum of the Sheepdog.
>Quite so. Here rests the vanguard of the Great Ranch. Every Sheepdog, from first to last. Each one created and consumed in times of extraordinary crisis.
>>Even on my knees I do not belong in their presence.
>The green pastures destruction was your error and you rightly bear the blame. But the Herd was... overzealous. We know you are not a bad dog.

>>5138955

The funny thing is that the San'Shyuum (Prophets) are shown in the game when they are already extremely old, but when they are young and at their prime they are described as extremely handsome. Very much like Damascus Goats.
