if someones stray cat keeps coming to my house should I just keep it? i know whose it is but whenever they claim it back from us or the shelter its back outside roaming on the literal street within a day or two.
its not even chipped, nor does it ever have a collar.

ive seen too many dead cats on the highway and city streets to feel comfortable continuing to give this neglectful owner this cat back.

They are a shit owner, so yes you should keep it, if you will care for it.

i love cats. theyre one of my few reasons for actually going to work. i get to come home and cuddle them and watch tv.
>>
just adopt one of the other gorillion homeless cats out there rather than start this useless fight
sure the cat might be somewhat neglected but that's still a far better life than what homeless cats will get

>take cat in
>chip cat
>keep inside
>in the neighbor bitches, be like "this isnt your cat, I liked yours so I went out and found one just like it, see it's chipped and everything.
>then where did yours go? who knows, you let it wander, maybe it got hit by a car or gotten by a hawk or something. maybe it just got sick, that kind of stuff happens with cats outside all the time, and so do identical cats

Personally, I sedate feral cats and dye them pink.

Catfags can handle death, loss, theft, disease, and injury. They live vicariously through their cats and like to imagine the “adventure”. But they can not handle a pink cat. Bonus points if you’re talented with a ten blade

or you could just walk into a shelter and take a cat that will otherwise get sent to the gas chambers if you purport to care about cats that much
>>
>>5139609
ive done that multiple times. im the stereotype of crazy cat owner. i make good money and have enough house for several cats, no kids so why not? if i can care for some of gods creatures i figure thats enough.

also the local shelters dont euthanize any cats but the terminally ill or severely injured ones who probably wont survive. ive seen them keep the same old fiv positive cat for like 2 years before he got adopted out. it was really nice to hear he found a home finally. the perks of living in a somewhat rural area are nice.

I know nothing about stray cats, I just came by to say that that is a very cute pallas cat
>>
>>5139420
I know this gets memed to death, but seriously is this a real picture because it's cute as fuck.

Look at the paws anon…
>>
>>5139699
Cats can have some pretty fucked up paws. Some of them have thumbs that are like little hands. We had a cat that had mittens when I was a kid.

Stealing pets is wrong.

nobody owns an outdoor cat, it's a wild animal

just take it they'll forget it and get another one in two months like always
>>
>>5140286
Outdoor cats are beloved pets. They're loved more than the poor cats who are trapped indoors for their entire life. Cats are supposed to have access to the outside.
>>

Thank you for feeding the dogs
>cat missing
>idk why :(
>>
>>5139391
Anon if you have an outdoor cat it wanders, and it comes up to neighbors because there's a 65% chance you're going to give him a free meal, like most of your sucker neighbors.
That's just outside cat behavior, for better or worse, an outdoor tom typically has a pretty big territory they'll roam.

This. OP is unhinged for trying to steal a cat
