>>5140720That depends on the scale of operation, really. If you're finishing just 300-350 birds for meat you can expect roughly 1200 pounds of meat. If you're doing heirloom breed, organic, pasture raised you can get 4-5 dollars per pound wholesale to the right markets. If you can secure bi-weekly deliveries from markets you're looking at around 10k-12k gross per month. Without paying workers you can expect around 6k profits depending, which is not a bad supplement if you're also doing eggs. With that said it is much better to find a local-ish supply because a lot of online vendors can't supply 350-400 chicks every other week, but that size of delivery is totally possible. Usually 80 chicks are put in a box, so it would only be 5 boxes.
