one morning I found a dragonfly that had slept under the eave of the roof within reach, it was still cold and asleep so I worked my finger up under it and got it perched on my hand. It started buzzing its wings in short bursts, longer each time, and eventually it took off, leaving a nice cold turd on my hand. I could see the bug parts it was made of, was pretty cool, like tiny wet vermiculite.
