Any ribbon snake owners?I saw some ribbon snakes together in an enclosure at the pet store and I think I fell in love. They're so cute, so small, they look really funny with their big round eyes that look perfect on their small noodley body. I've always kind of wanted a snake but only a small one and these guys seem actually perfect. Are they hard to keep?I own 20 tarantulas, and a bearded dragon. Any tips on spotting lizards or snakes in the wild? I live in an area with lots of forests, but after trying multiple times to find some I still couldn't do it. I found a slow worm once because the bitch crossed a small path right infront of me, but I'm out of luck on any other lizards and snakes. There's a shitload of combination thermometer/hygrometers on amazon, even ones that hook up to your phone for like ten bucks. get one of those and then put that AND your probe closer to the ground.And get a new lightbulb, the red infrared ones are dogshit. regular-ass halogens are far better.
Had my african house snake for about a month now and its only ate 2 pinkies the entire time. He' about 2 feet long so this seems like way too little to me. But at the same time they're super skinny wirey snakes anyways so idk.
