MEGA broody chicken. I have removed her from nest 15 times. I have locked her out of nest 10+ times for several hours at a time. Her broodiness has even become a menace for the other chickens, because they refuse to lay if they cannot access her laying spot, leaving them heavy with egg, but no place to lay. I established a broody-jail. Now the chicken is isolated. Chicken knocks over water within two minutes, every time I give it water. It's summer. Just die of thirst then. How much longer do I need to keep it in broody-jail? Pic unrelated.
I have removed her from broody-jail. She pecks at the ground. Perhaps she is cured of temporary psychosis.

Did you try giving her fake eggs to sit on somewhere else? Mine would stay broody for fucking weeks.
