Recently, there have been a slow emergence of internet memes seeing roaches in an endearing way, like how you would any other cute-adjacent animals and insects, like squirrels, or birds.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxkmXnRQblEAt first, it slowly started with spiders, then it moved to rats (keeping them as pets). Honestly, this kind of whole new perspective is a little shocking. Yet, I don't feel particularly strongly against it, or anything. It's just a bit... surprising how far humans are willing to humanize certain creatures, even to go as far as humanizing pests.
