Genets are lovely pets but most people couldn't stomach keeping one since they refuse kibble and even carrion. If the food isn't live and wriggling, they're simply not interested in eating it. I posted a webm some time back of one eating from a bowl of live mealworms and gave that same explanation. Also one snatching a frog from a pond. And the mealworms one crawling in and out of a guy's shirt while he was wearing it (the shirt, not the genet)

>>5145823Cannabinoids metabolize differently if you consume raw cannabis, but it still absolutely mind effecting. One of the ironies is that cannabis suppresses ruminant appetites if consumed raw, so if your cows get into a grow op some dipshit planted in a fallow pasture, they will prioritize eating the weed because of the pleasant pharmacological effects, but then they lose weight because the don’t eat enough actually nutritious browse, at least until they finish off all the cannabis and the cannabinoids leave their system.
>>5145845Unfortunately from what I hear he electrocuted himself>>5145864Enjoying that look of reproach at the end
>>5145909Nope. It's also because they only give birth to a single pup per year, they take as many as 8 years to reach maturity and have a 11 month gestation period. Compare that to dogs, which reach maturity at 9 months, litters of six puppies aren't unheard of and gestate a mere 9 weeks. Seals recovery relatively quickly from birth and a cow can mate again 4 months after giving birth, almost ensuring one pup every season. Dogs generally wait 6 months but with their short gestation, they can give birth to multiple litters a year.So say we start with newborn seal pups and newborn puppies, yeah? After ten years, you'll have 2 more seals and 84 more dogs from just that single breeding pair. Assuming the first litter dropped is exactly three male and three female and ignoring the genetic problems caused by inbreeding, that first litter could itself birth an additional 216 puppies. And the next litter would add more and more and more. You'll have tens of thousands of dogs and just 4 seals there original breeding pair and two pups. There's not much opportunity to selectively breed for desirable traits. That's a much larger reason for why we've not domesticated seals: the sheer logistics of it.

>>5145972>but it still absolutely mind effectingthc starts off as thc(a) and only becomes activated by heating it to burning temps such as smoking or cooking. if you eat a 8th of weed randomly you won't get high, but it wont hurt you either. its like eating any other plant at that point. you can make tea from weed too, but even the boiling water isn't high enough temp to activate the thc, so it kinda tastes like an earl gray. smells great, tastes good, but you won't get high from it
