That's a shame, but I was pretty confident she was going to perish when they could resolve the anemia. Just at the end of her time. Was she 13? I want to say she was already 7 when I started watching in 2020.
>>5145871It's a wild animal. Ultimately no different than any other bald eagle out there. It was fun watching it, but some people can't handle how gritty mother nature is. Had this bird not been rescued by human intervention, then the coyotes would've gotten her. She fulfilled her purpose though and laid a lot of eaglets over the years.

FI started watching these freedom birds in 2022 from a thread here where they were surviving a harsh winter storm and they were buried in snow and I didn’t think they would survive that, but they did and they have been for millennia. I kept the stream up since then on another browser and just kept watching them survive and raise their chicks. They were good parents. And even though I never was able to tell Jackie and Shadow apart, they looked exactly the same to me, it was still neat to watch them. I hope Shadow finds another mate and they keep the stream up and I see a thread about them in the future.
