Yup that's him as a pup. You can tell because he has the goofy indented face. Apparently he was birthed prematurely which is why his face looks so silly. I have some videos of young Niko that I'll post here too.

Thanks for sharing, I'll look into it more later. I dunno why but a lot of the seal pics and videos I share usually come from Japan, Niko being an example of this. I Guess Japan really likes seals now that I think about it? Also the videos of the Japanese aquarium workers with the seals are always cute too

Yeah if you look around that channel, you find the Japanese are pretty elite about animal attractions. They have so much I have never seen before and if they exist anywhere else on the planet at all, they are far fewer than in Japan. I think you will like the video, or I hope so, but I think if you want some real cozy youtube, you might like the whole channel. His videos are really good. You feel like you are traveling with him.
