Apparently, humans saw nothing wrong about feeding cow brains to cows, until SHTF, that is. What kind of retarded world is this, anyway?
>>5155239It was Br*ts doing it, not people. All because they were too cheap to buy basedbeans.
>>5155239tbf prions are a really fucking stupid concept, who could ever expect something like that
>>5155250We've seen the effects of cannibalism on all animals and humans, why wouldn't you expect something to go horribly wrong by feeding cow brains to cows?
Interesting thing about prion disease is we KNEW something was causing it for centuries prior to that. There's multiple documentations going back as far as the 1200s of sheep losing their minds and entire herds being culled. Prion shed makes its incredibly hard to contain it over 3-5 decades too considering how long remnants can survive in soil. genuinely I have no fucking idea how this hasn't killed 99% of humanity yet
>>5155256>all animals and humanshumans are animals
>>5155239Purely hypothetical here, but what would happen if I ate my girlfriend? Like, full-on cannibalised her.But I'd cook her, I'm not a barbarian.
>>5155256We didn't connect any of the dots because prions were completely unknown. The very concept of a disease causing agent that wasn't a virus or bacteria went against germ theory, the foundation of modern medicine. Claiming prions could exist prior to their discover would be on par with talking about fake moon landings, evolution being fake, or homeopathy.
>>5155688it will taste grosshumans dont taste good
>>5155239Hyper min maxxed factory farming has many horrors beyond comprehension. When a sow gives birth to still born piglets the workers will use a blender to make piglet smoothie and force feed it back to the mom. It's insanely horrible.
>>5155239It was cheap meat and nobody uncerstood what Prions were. Also mad cow disease had never been recorded before we started feeding cows food made out of other cows in the mid 20th century.
