The show quality ones are giga smashed and slammed and will not have any control (that is something those retarded judges actually look for). Normal ones will, so if the bun is surprised, the ears go up. Often they have a stronger or preferential ear or one that developed (strength) faster so one is up more often than the other. Note that as they age, this can change. My last holland lop often had a half lop when she was < 2 years old, but after that it seemingly went away and eventually she just stopped raising her ears all together at 5+ years.Then there's torticollis caused by Encephalitozoon cuniculi, which is really bad. If your bun survives, it could stabilize but still have a permanent disability of a head tilt, and very mild cases may result in a half-lop.

Deploying Tactical Camo Rabbit
I managed to rescue a juvenile cottontail and I've been rehabbing it. Within 3 days it's now at the point where it momentarily recoils from me back into the hide only to immediately creep back at realizing I'm giving it more food.
Four cute cotton tails live on my property. I am torn between wanting to befriend them and wanting to sprint after them shrieking at them like some creature from the Backrooms.

i love bunnies so much but i'm single and live alone and have a job, so it isn't for me. i couldn't leave it alone 8 hours every day and risk GI stasis killing it by the time I get home from work. not to mention i'm instantly screwed if I ever have to travel for work
