is there a surge? is it kibbles? any success stories and cures that we cannot find in the "studies"?

I started to give my cat thiamine (B1) supplement, a high therapeutic dose, and her seizures are less frequent now, and I hope they'll completely disappear someday.

Sending you love, OP. I had a cat with epilepsy too. Is yours on phenobarbitol? If not, talk to a vet and try to get her on it. Do not skip any doses. She will have seizures anyway, but much less frequent. Put your hand down under her head when she seizes but do not constrain or pick her up. There is no cure to epilepsy, only treatment, and sadly every seizure further damages the brain and makes them happen more often. I'm sorry you have to deal with this. She is very lucky to have someone who cares that much.

cat epilepsy is usually caused by benign cranial masses, but it depends on the age range and other factors. Some cats are predisposed or have them caused by infectious disease.

> is it kibbles
It is almost certainly bad breeding.
