If the bats leave they die because they need bat blood to reproduce. Although they could feed on humans if they're starving. I had bats in the attic so I saw these guys every once in awhile. They were usually disorientated, slow, and almost dead when I saw them. The only way to tell the difference from bed bugs is to look under a microscope for the longer body hairs
