I was removing weeds with a hoe and found him sunbathing, I think it is an argentinian black and white tegu.
I didn't want to get too close I have seen some videos of them chasing people and trying to bite them.

Anyone have experience with bairds ratsnakes? Is the care really just same as corn snakes maybe slightly drier? Are they worth paying the extra money or should i just get a corn?

>>5161987They're iffy to keep because they make DMT and are also super poisonous to everything. Legally, you need a fishing license to collect anything from the wild that's not an insect. And don't post online about it or tell people because you might still get FWC pounding on your door trying to say you're making drugs with em. Of course you also have to deal with parasites and other wild caught issues and a vet might not be happy with you having a Sonoran desert toad.
