I have a male hedgehog. Apparently he likes his "boy time" (as people call it) a lot, but does it when nobody is around to clean up after him. This leads to his cum matting up his fur and basically forming concrete tough hairballs. The shit is literally as tough as superglue and very difficult to remove. Soaking helps a little, as does soap. However, even with a stiff toothbrush and a lot of caution, he still ends up with some left in his fur.He tries to assist me in cleaning it by holding the toothbrush and exposing his neck for me to gently clean it.But there has to be an easier way to do this. I have his total trust, but he starts to get fussy if cleaning it takes too long. He'll tolerate maybe 20 minutes of grooming before he decides he's done being groomed and wants to play or eat.Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you for your time.PS:My boy says, *sniff sniff sniff* "chirp chirp", which is his happy to be clean and hello verbals.

>>5159930Give it a hedgehog sized box of tissues or a hedgehog blow up doll.

>>5159946>>5159971>>5159976All male hedgehogs are like this to varying degrees. Make sense considering they're hung like elephants and sire bunches of hoglets.

>>5159930I like how happy he looks.Clearly a sweet natured hedgie.Definitely trusts his owner.
>>5159930Any chance of arranging to borrow/meet him up with a female Hedgehog and allowing him to make a deposit in the intended receptacle?
>>5159998No.
>>5159998If I ever have him spawn more overlords, it will be with a harem I buy for him and I would keep all the overlords he spawns.
>>5159988His owners are learning constantly.
>>5160013Do it.
>>5159930Stop doing it in front of him and then he might stop trying to mimmick
>>5160142Nobody does that in front of him. It's just something male hedgehogs instinctively do or do in their sleep. The first time I ever noticed the residuals was after one of his naps.At first I though they were little skin tags, because the concretions were tiny, flat, and dangling of his underbelly skin. So...I carefully snipped one away so he wouldn't get it caught on something and end up with an injury from tearing his skin.It was then that I noticed it was a solid matting of fur as if he'd been superglued. I gave him a bath and the rest came out on their own. Now the gobs of "glue" are ridiculous (despite being infrequent) and more difficult to get out.Hedgehogs have sensitive skin so most soaps are unsafe to use. We use a special baby shampoo, which works nicely and is safe for hedgies. However, i still have to carefully brush out the goo with a toothbrush and some of it always remains because that shit is almost like gorilla glue. It's fortunate that he's a trooper and usually lets me clean him without a fuss. He's remarkably patient and tolerant for a hedgehog.I'm hoping someone here has experience getting sticky shit out of animal fur. I've had dogs and cats before, but the worst I ever had to clean when grooming them was hairballs or weird plant seeds from the fields in my backyard getting stuck in theur fur.I would just trim it all out of his fur, but he'd end up bald eventually and that would not be a good thing, so I'm seeking other solutions.
I remember reading somewhere about a hedgehog that actually bit off half his penis.

>>5159976Nah, just give him a bunch of hedgehog-sized socks.
