I think this is one of the most important studies on how latent toxoplasmosis affects (or doesn't affect) host behavior, and I strongly recommend the entire board read it,
https://journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mbio.02164-19

Some of the more interesting points,
>Tests in humans don't test before and after infection; they compare the behavior of previously infected people to those not infected. This means that rather than showing latent toxoplasmosis affecting host behavior, it could should behavioral patterns more likely to result in toxoplasmosis infection
>Studies widely disagree on behavioral changes in rodents; what they are or even if they exist
>Tests showed people with T. gondii had an odds ratio of 1.43 for schizophrenia; for comparison a maternal family history of schizophrenia has a ratio of 9.31, paternal age over 54 at 5.92, and weed use at 2.93

I had no choice but to move in with someone who had an outdoor cat that eats rodents years ago, and had lived in fear acting like a germaphobe, all because of misrepresentation by console war imbeciles on this board.

Kek you can actually bring more traffic to a board just by astroturfing it with new content. Regular board visitors just check for how the catalog looks and if the rest are like me, just move on when it’s the same order with no new threads.
But if you post in every thread that you find interesting and start mixing up the board, I guess the regulars have a little more to participate themselves. And now since there are more posts and the board’s faster, tourists stick around a little longer because there’s actually a reason to be here.
I have done this with another board over the course of this past year or so to great success. It’s still not a “fast board” but I don’t have to astroturf anything anymore to keep it churning. I don’t want to name it because then I’m taking credit specifically and it’ll be shit flinging. Been thinking of doing it here too but I don’t want to have more than one project at once.

The only advice from /an/ you should take seriously is "Take it to the vet". Anything else should be treated as satire/legitimate retardation.

The redditors who spam "toxo" aren't interested in scientific studies except as bludgeons to use against the object of their derangement. Naturally anyone who comes to 4chan, the cat website, and gets angry about cats is going to be a basket case.

Two female authors and a meta-analaysis? Study discarded.

This study is actually slightly higher quality
