name the one species you want extinct
>>
Humans.
>>
im done with silverfish
a pox upon ye, bug
>>
Ranzania laevis
>>
>>5162501
Ticks. They don't seem very important and they're annoying & damgerous.
>>
>>5162561
And bed bugs. They only exist in proximity to humans and not in the wild thus contribute absolutely nothing but being blood sucking pests.
>>
>>5162501
Mosquitoes.
No I don't care their larvae are important for water life.
>>
Cockroaches
>>
>>5162570
They are also important pollenators
>>
>>5162561
They are food for birds. Also serve as population control mechanism.
>>
>>5162501
But they're cute
>>
Cookie cutter sharks
>>
>>5162502
Lead by example or stfu
>>
>>5162501
there's something about lampreys i hate
>>
>>5162607
Absolute bullshit. I am SWARMED by mosquitos and yet none of my plants got pollinated this year.
>>
Mosquitoes and this is the definitive answer.
Insectivores can find something else to eat and if they can't then they're bitchmade and can die off if they can't cope. Fuck em.
The amount of annoyance, illness and death mosquitoes have dealt out throughout history is a travesty of nature. I wish nothing less than a holocaust against them.
My other answer would be botflies because they're also abominations but they're not nearly as prevalent.
>>
>>5162620
Birds can eat something else.
>>
>>5162501
Fleas.

They're spreading intensely, they're becoming immune to all poisons, they can spread disease. They offer nothing of nutritional value to other animals that couldn't be replaced by something else that's better.

total. flea. death.
>>
>>5162742
Fun fact: the human flea is becoming immune to antiseptics.

Ticks and Fleas 100%.
The things that eat them have plenty of other options that are far better, and they do nothing but spread disease as part of their only means of survival. They don't predate kill anything that would otherwise breed out of control. They don't pollinate plants. They don't even look interesting.
At least mosquitos are a major food source for all kinds of things, like swallows and dragonflies for example. Not so for the niggers of the animal kingdom: ticks and fleas could vanish overnight and things would only improve.

okay
im done with the specific type of silverfish that eats my towels and the spiders wont deal with (probably because they keep getting stuck in my sink)
>>
>>5162784
Spirit of the question, not the letter of it. Eliminating a single species of mosquito or tick won't do shit when you still have a million other identical species left. There's barely any difference between the different species so everything we call a mosquito or a tick might as well count as one species.

horse flies
mosquitoes
wasps
hornets

Cimex Lectularius (the common bed bug)
Funny thing is this is the only one that is actually just a species

It's HAPPENING!
Total. Mosquito and tick. Death.

Not in a meaningful or effective way
>>
All parasites should die, in my humble opinion
>>
>>5162501
Those large flying insects with the long legs don't know its name. They look like massive mosquitos
>>
>>5163902
Underrated answer. Hate those dogs. Ugly looking dogs owned by equally ugly trashy people.
Also not overly fond of pugs and small yapping dogs either
>>5166289
Another insect i really dislike is ladybugs. Something about a flying insect with a shell is a bit gross.
>>
>>5166159
make sure to also exterminate those who are aware that they have an infestation they're spreading and refuse to do anything about it
>>
>>5166302
So white collar workers.

>>5162706
Mosquitoes kinda is sad because only the females are ruining it for the entire species. If the entire species was as chill as their males no one would care, instead an entire species needs to go because one half of it are literal blood sucking parasites.
>>
>>5166223
>only in dc
>an area that's almost entirely urban with the occasional chemically-treated lawn with 2-inch high grass
it's fucking NOTHING
>>
>>5162706
There are some mosquito species that do not feed on blood. The elephant mosquito feeds on plants and devours the larvae of blood drinking mosquitos during the larval stage
>>5162501
I'd have that flesh fly species that lays the fucking eggs into living creatures be erased from nature

What's cool about these larva is that the hairs detach and act like velcro as a defense mechanism. I tried to feed one to my ants and they got their little legs bound together by the hairs.
>>
>>5169701
How do I get rid of these faggots?
I've been dealing with these fuckers and the occasional Carpet Moth, I vacuum regularly, but they keep coming back, mostly in my bathroom.

I love these little fuckers. I do hate mosquitoes and horseflies, but i wouldn't want them extinct either. It's not their fault for trying to survive

Oh shit I had those in my RV. Tore out the carpet to fix it.

>>5170092
It isnt possible. Carpet is fucking disgusting. They crawl between gaps in the carpet weave to deeper layers. All your skin cells, dirt, and snack crumbs also fall below the main carpet layer.

Deep washing the carpet might kill them due to poisoning with carpet soap. Only other solution is to tear out the carpet and put a hard floor you can actually clean.
