Some religions say that you can be reincarnated as an insect as punishment for the things you did in your past life. Would life as a bug really be all that awful? I used to think that being reborn as a fly wouldn't be so bad, since they only live for like a year, so you really don't have to wait all that long until you die. But then I learned that insects have a slower perception of time than we do. So one human year could feel like a lot more for a fly. Thoughts?

Considering what life some people have to endure for DECADES, a life as a fly that ends with a quick swift swat with a newspaper would be preferable to them.
