The jaguar is the neanderthal counterpart of the leopard: the jaguar is more robust with a relatively bigger head and relatively shorter limbs (and tail).If you put a jaguar and leopard of roughly the same size at the withers side by side, the jaguar would be heavier and with a stockier frame.
