Saved a possum from a trap the other night. Wasn’t sure if he was dead or just doin his thing, so my gf dropped a slice of roast beef in there next to him, see if he’d take it. Came back a few hours later and he was up and around. He glared at me mouth open, snout straight down. Kept half-ass lunging at my hand very shakily, dude wasn’t selling it. Used a stick and a gardening glove to pry the trap open, and left it ajar for him to escape. Came back and smoked a joint a couple hours later, staring at the empty cage under the foggy full moon. Shoosh, I shore hope he makes the finals. Good luck out there, lil feller.
Because it was the ecological niche that it filled perfectly.
