You should also avoid doctors and medicine.

This is the normal attitude, people who treat their animals slaves as furbabies and spend thousands of dollars on them are the insane ones.

for third world shitholes where 25k people die of rabies every year and distemper exposure eventually causes multiple sclerosis in humans
>no no no thats ok you see you need to listen to muhammad the dog is a filthy animal it doesnt go inside
the masses of dead and sickened are mostly in muslim countries plus india and rural china

a culture that takes care of its dogs takes care of its people

it's what it is, typically older animals will have health issues and intervening in them won't necessarily do the least harm. if it's not brutally suffering like rabies I do believe animals deserve to go through the entire process of death.

Even if your dog was suffering from an extremely painful and potentially deadly disease that could be cured with prescription medication? You really wouldnt do anything?

have you actually witnessed an animal dying of old age, its unlikely animal is going to die in its sleep. having sat through a pet dying of old age and agonal breathing, its not pleasant and not something id like to do again, go for euthanasia

I mean old people go through the same and it's not distressing for them but their loved ones. I wouldn't use that as a reason to put an animal down that's on it's way out the natural way, but maybe for not freaking out children I guess.

Old people have end of life care and medications, the majority absolutely do not let life take its course unless they’re actually stupid
>>
>>5165292
people get pets on end of life medications to treat pain and other conditions, what do you mean.

I would pray and let God decide

OP implies that he doesn’t do anything for his dying pets.

Come here you little snotnosed pissant faggot, let me put a kabar through your chest cavity and have you choke on a throat-ful of blood in your final moments. Let's see then if you still think dying is not distressing.

I inherited the dogs my Mom and I raised when she died when I was 18. I am proud that I have cared for them since then but god damn have I not given up several career opportunities because then I would not have the time to actually own these dogs.
I love them but will be glad to close that chapter of my life when they finally die.
