Its been 12 hrs since me and my cat came home from the vet. They said she had a uti from some cocci bacteria. The meds they gave are amoxicillin, gabapentin and robenacoxib but shes still seeming like shes struggling to pee.Vet said she should be back to acting normal in 24 hrs and that the infection should be cleared up in about 5 days, but so far it doesnt seem like thats likely. She keeps trying to go pee in the litter box, some pee has come out but most of the time shes just straining. But im no expert so idkIve been on edge since yesterday about this. The vets supposed to follow up with me today so ill tell them this later but i wish i could do something now

>>5165355Okay thank you, that eases my stress a bit. Shes never had any medical problems as serious as this and it breaks my heart to see her struggling. Sometimes she meows in pain while trying to pee, i fuckin teared up last night when i first heard it happen.Pretty sure my hairline receded a good 5-8% during this time
