Haven't you ever seen the documentary where the animals eat the marula fruit after it gets a little over-ripe and suddenly the animals are having a block party at the watering hole where even the predators are taking it eeeaaaaassssssyyyyyy. You're also not going to get pure fruit juice unless you've got a press which requires industry and opposable thumbs, and containers to hold it in which means you need to at least be in the stone age.
