Can they REALLY break a man's arm? I'm skeptical. I doubt they could break either of my mighty arms.
>>5166479I doubt it, I bet I could pin it down and reverse zeus it and it wouldn't be able to do shit.
>>5166479Yeah probably one of the lower bones like ulna or radius. Especially if it's braced on or against something. It's wings are strong enough to make a ~25 lb animal fly for whole day if it really wants to.
>>5166601>It's wings are strong enough to make a ~25 lb animal fly for whole day if it really wants to.Wait can they really punch THAT hard?
>>5166613It's not like getting hit with a fist it's like getting stuck with a police baton. It's a very narrow section that's striking you from a very powerful limb.
>>5166479>mighty armswhat a bait. anything else you want to add to that list?
>>5166585>and reverse zeus it
>>5166618But can they really launch a 25 lb animal so fast it only hits the ground a full day later?
>>5166624Yeah, themselves
Well, a goose is smaller than they are and they can casually crack a window with the wings.
>>5166479
>>5166651
>>5166479If the bird manages to hit you with its wrist instead of just feathers then probably
>>5166618Aren't their bomes hollow? I imagine they'd just snap after coming in contact with these cannons *kisses bicep*
>>5166641What the fuck
>>5166704It's a misconception somewhat. Contrary to popular belief, bird bones are not especially weak or fragile. They are actually probably stronger than a mammal's that is in their same size/weight category.
I used to be intimidated by these things before I realized they only attack you if they have chicks and you act anxious. Ever since I have found out they are almost like peacocks with how ridiculous they are and you can easily make them back off if they don't have chicks by just taking a step towards them, but at parks I still see people awkwardly stuck at walkpaths because a swan or two decided to block the way and the people were too scared to just walk past the fuckers. It happened one time with my mates at a lake district with two swans blocking a path and despite me reasuring the swans won't do shit they didn't follow me past the swans and instead gingerly one by one awkwardly side step the path to get as much space as possible.Remove the nose nubb and they are just giant ducks without the necrophilia.
>>5166479Not really.I don't get why people are afraid of them. Used to visit a park where one would regularly attack people. First two times he got after me he attacked my legs but didn't even manage to damage my jeans. Got him to piss off by stomping on the ground really hard. Afterwards we were cool, and I had something to laugh about while he chased other people.
>>5166641You could casually crack a window with your hand, you just don't do it because you know how glass works, what vandalism is, and that glass shards make ouch. You don't even have to punch that hard. I know of a kid doing it by accident once by knocking at a glass door.
>>5166479probably the story started from some pussy ass bitchboy that got scared by one, fell over and broke his puny faggot arm. then tried to play it off as being melee'd by danger goose
>>5166811Or a literal child and people applied to it adults by extension
People who know, know the real danger is if they drown you.
>>5166479I herd the geese at my apt complex I'm sure you could do the same with swans. they hiss but all you need is a pole to assert authority
>>5166749Idk why people fear of them, I used to handfeed them seeds, sure they bite my fingers all the time but it's more like awkward rough tickle then bite from dog or cat
>>5166749They're nice birds and so are geese. People just aren't used to dealing with an animal that demands respect. They can definitely recognize individuals even if they change clothing.
