The thing is I don’t think anyone wants Bi-Han to be a good guy. They want him to be an actual neutral character since we haven’t had that since Hanzo in fucking Armageddon. Every character is either good or bad due to the writer (& lowkey the Mortal Kombat fanbase) being fucking goofies & not being able to understand nuance.

I don't need Bi-Han to be one of the gooduns. A "redeemed" Bi-Han in the original timelines would be a neutral party who just helps his grandmaster brother when he needs it. He was tired of living as an assassin, but that doesn't mean I and others think he wanted to join the heroes.

No one fucking wants Bi-Han to be buddy buddy with all the good guys, they want him to be neutral like he always was before his corruption, but because the writers & this fanbase have the brainpower of a walnut they become dense when it comes to Bi-Han.

I find it fucking hilarious that people are so against Bi-Han being neutral but leapt in the air to jizz their own panties when Hanzo, who has done 100x worse than Bi-Han by Hanzo's own choice, got undeserved redemption.

It’s funny how Bi-Han gets hit with ‘he was always evil’ stick when he wasn’t but MK's fanbase of goofies can accept Hanzo getting redemption despite Hanzo being far worse than Bi-Han & getting zero consequences for all he ever fucking did.

asshole doesn’t equal evil which is what this goofy fanbase & the ‘writer’ at NetherRealm Studios don’t fucking comprehend.

I’ve never wanted Bi-Han to be a hero but moustache twirling Saturday Morning Cartoons villain is just a fucking smear campaign as well.

Both timelines Hanzo is stupid though & still the fanbase & the writers pretend he is a redeemable character when he reneges on damn near every good thing he does & has always done horrid shit on purpose.

For example, Hanzo Hasashi fucking chose to be an assassin in both timelines. Then chose to help Shinnok free himself in both timelines & chose to try to destroy reality. But NRS looked at someone like that & said ‘he should be a hero!’ And gave him no consequences.

Mileena in Mortal Kombat X was very in control of her actions & was a cruel despot of an emperor & wildly incompetent. She also was willing to plunge Outworld into civil war for the throne.

Mileena in the Midway timeline still was in control of her actions when she chose to attack Kitana in MKII and MK3, and was in control of her actions when she chose to help Onaga. This new version of Mileena is just Kitana with teeth, oh wait she doesn’t even have teeth most of the time so really she’s just Kitana.

Hanzo Hasashi may be a victim but you can still be a massive prick whilst being a victim. Hanzo still chose to kill Bi-Han & ruined his own chances of getting his family back & then blamed it on Quan Chi which is a pattern you see with Hanzo.

None of Hanzo’s wrongdoings are his own in Mortal Kombat, it’s always someone else’s fault. Hanzo literally tried to destroy reality. Hanzo attacked his own allies, doomed all the revenants to the Netherrealm (a fate that Hanzo Hasashi fucking earned unlike everyone else) & inadvertently freed Shinnok.

In fact, Hanzo also never truly repented as he never felt any remorse for any of the bad shit he did & was just allowed to do shit because Ed Boon would have a fucking aneurysm if Hanzo was given any true consequences.

Hanzo chose to free Shinnok in both timelines & still in MKX they let him restart his Shirai Ryu clan & defend one of the Kamidogu despite Hanzo clearly proving to be completely untrustworthy.

Hanzo in Mortal Kombat X was the biggest prick ever & then in MK11 everyone inexplicably reveres him despite him being completely & utterly undeserving of it.

It’s just double standards when it comes to Bi-Han. They fucking smear Bi-Han's character & make him the devil incarnate, while they turn around and pretend that Mileena & Hanzo are supposedly good people at heart when really they’re both bastards that justify their behavior with the weakest of all the lame ass reasons.
