>>952006638To me a lot of the Genesis games are more fun to pick up and play, or emulate as most would do. The console went for a more arcadey feel. SNES though had more overall great games and it had an abundance of them. But the good Genesis games are really fun and stand up to me with the best SNES ones.As for Turbo/PCE it had its own share of fun stuff but it never got the proper support outside of Japan. I did love Bonk though as a kid. However Sonic was my favorite mascot platformer and I still think the Genesis Sonic games are the best 2D platformers even today.
>>952007149Oof. I agree with a lot of what you said, but I totally disagree with Sonic. I think it's almost complete trash. I tell people to play anything on the Genesis besides Sonic. Some of my underrated favorites are Gauntlet IV, Granada and Skeleton Krew. My favorite game for it is MUSHA. You're totally right about the pick up and play arcade titles. It has a bunch that hit a certain spot the other two consoles don't, but for more elaborate and involving games, the SNES has that covered it's not even close.

Then the movie The Wizard dropped, and I already owned Mario world 3 and had beat it many times, but Americans hadn't even seen it yet. Needless to say I was the coolest kid in the country for a while. But I digress, I was always on the winning side, because I have good taste. Although Sega was goated for DreamcastPC is all you need now
