Buddy, I spent three years living out of a van. Many restaurants WILL give you free food if you just walk in and ask nicely and explain your situation. It might just be rice or soup, but it's free. Also churches. Many of them will want to talk to you, or invite you to services. Just be nice and agree to whatever and many will send you out with bags of groceries.

free no?damn near? rice and beans you cant say youve ever struggled really if you havent had to resort to buying bulk rice and beans.dried beans that is. both rice and beans can be found for like $1 per 1lb. its really the cheapest food to survive on and you can cook them many different ways. cheese slices can be cheap. cheesy rice is good.baked beans is basically tomato sauce and beans, you can make ghetto tomato sauce with ketchup and water. boil your beans in that.if you can afford an extra dollar, get some bar S dogs. cant beat that either.if you want to eat more than plant protein that is.those are great cut up and added to either beans or rice.those who know know im being real

also if you get beans. make sure you soak them at least 12~ hours or so. change the water somewhere during that time. salting the water helps softens them up if you happen to be somewhere with very hard water. ive been homeless and know how to survive in harsh conditionsGOTTA GO
