I'm back with another tip for my H3 MiniMaxers.If you're using ref2vid, you can use audio references to feed in voices for your characters, and it works pretty good, especially when using the speech tags I talked about in my last tutorialpost.I recommend an audio clip around 15-20 seconds, anything past that is overkill in my experience and causes the AI to jumble the audio, so pick 15 seconds of your best clips. You want clear, good quality clips that really give you the feel of the character with minimal or no background shit going on, and if it's a long-running show, make sure all your audio is from around the same timeframe so you don't get a lot of variance in how the character sounds (think Simpsons S5 Marge to S35 Marge).To demonstrate, I'll use Summer Smith. She has a fairly distinct voice, easily recognizable.I put together a quick prompt where she answers a tweet about incest with Morty. Same seed for both gens.Clip 1, no audio reference:https://files.catbox.moe/93jszy.mp4Clip 2, with audio reference:https://files.catbox.moe/835s7p.mp4And as a bonus tip, if you noticed the emphasis she used when she said "MY brother", that wasn't organic - there's a tag trick for that too. If you wrap a word in italics tags in your dialogue, MiniMax interprets that as emphasis.ex. <i>my</i> brother results in what you heard in the clips. Try it out! Sometimes the AI decides to make the character pronounce the tags, but that's been rare in my experience and it usually just works.
