It used to be a passably decent way to pass time. Also used to be interesting or funny more reliably. But it definitely was always some level of shit, just now the level of shit is so omnipresent and entrenched it seems like there’s multiple people all dedicated to keeping the board as uninteresting as possible like that is some kind of masterclass joke. Now all ylyl threads are the same unfunny shit each time and mostly just schizophrenic, there’s as many “upload frumpy girls” threads as always, logposting being a years long ritual with literally zero things entertaining about it, and zero people discussing any topic at all or making OC. To think this place used to be ground zero for a whole lot of the internet zeitgeists is unfathomable seeing what it is like now.
