Paying off my mortgage was my biggest drive to work. I have now paid it off (due to an early inheritance) and now my next goal is retiring early and to do that, I need to work harder/find a new job but it's a 17year plan at a minimum and starting such a large goal feels like crap but delaying it means working for much longer.
