/b/ used to be the meme pioneer #1 like 13 years ago. Internet culture was very influenced by this board specifically and a lot of people migrated to this site during those times because it was actually fun. Now it's full of porn or andy biersack jokes. MAKE /b/ GREAT AGAIN!

There weren't as many users posting on it so you could start a thread in the morning before you went to school, say posting an old work safety poster you found funny, and by the time you got home from school the thread would still be alive and a dozen people would have made edits to your original post (famous example "Carol forgot to wear her safety glasses, now she doesn't need to".Modern /b/ is mostly just people posting memes they find somewhere else and threads are pruned quickly because of constant stream of posts.
Threads like this are bait for why-we-can't-have-nice-things answers.
