I remember tons of comedy skits in the 90s where basically the entire shtick was alluding to how gay fascism looks.
I mean they weren't the first metro sexuals, but we've had a history of men wearing tights and wigs and perfumery since the 1800s at minimum and we know they wore tights in the middle ages.
