I think I was 11 or 12 the first time I thought about committing suicide. I knew how to use firearms, I knew where they were stored, and where the ammunition for them was. We lived near the desert, and I knew a number of desolate places I could go to do the deed. But I was terrified of doing it wrong and crippling myself in such a way that I couldn't finish the job. I was terrified of being a quadruplegic in a wheelchair, helpless to end my suffering.I had a friend who also knew how to use firearms, and I thought about asking him to finish me off if I didn't do the job right, but even at that age, I understood that that might get him into trouble. Plus, he was enough of a normie that he probably would have been horrified by the idea. I guess that's a good thing, I mean, we don't necessarily want preteens wandering around who are willing to off their friends if they fuck up their suicide. But it made me feel stuck. Anyone else contemplate suicide from a young age?
Hey guys I guess that's it*Dies like a bitch*
>>955443766Dubs logged, throte clogged I stuck a shotgun in my mouth as a kid. I have been depressed since age 6

>>9554437661st started to seriously consider it at age 16have had it come & go since thenbeen a long time since i last truly weighed doin itim so gr8ful my life is such a blessingi hope yall can find the same feeling<3
>>955443766yeah, I realized world was shitty when I talked to other people and they started mocking me because I didn't like what others liked when I was younger. "it gets better", my parent said. well, that's where I am in my life. it never gets better, the problem just changes, never the weight of it. i live in europe so i dream just having a firearm. drugs are unsure and uncertain, jumping from a building is hard to find, drowning, hanging, cutting and suffocating are quite painful, suicide by firearm would be the best choice. as long as you research a lot on your anatomy, you shouldn't miss.
>>955444658so what changed for you?
>>955444675yeah, from all my research, 12 ga. 00 buckshot or slug to the brainstem via the mouth is the most reliable method, and mostly painless as far as we know
I tried once with pills as a teen. Mostly because being a teenager sucks.I’m much older now and life has turned out mostly good. I love my awesome wife, my coworkers are cool. Not rich or anything, we’re lowkey camping nature people. But as an adult I’ve developed a food allergy that will def take me out peacefully within a couple hours. It almost has a couple times. A natural jar product available most grocery stores. So, while I do have a great simple life and awesome wife, I do honestly take comfort that I could take myself out with a DoorDash order if I’m an old man and my wife is gos before me.

>>955443766It seems like the rates of attempted suicides by young people is very underreported. Also is it just me or does it seems like depression is less of a problem for people who are truly destitute and desperate? It's almost like you actually have to be at a fairly comfortable spot in life to be so bummed out about it that you want to off yourself. Which kinda makes sense if you think about it. People in really shitty situations are the ones with the most hope for something better. People who have it all already can only dread losing it.
>>955447545Not true
>>955447728>not truewhich part? Don't you find it a little ironic that Finland is considered the happiest country on Earth, also has one of the highest suicide rates?
>>955448031We can't accurately measure suicide or much of anything else in shithole countries
>>955447545i didn't "have it all," but i was middle class and wanted to top myself
is that pajlada
>>955448515So you're a bottom and you want someone to top you?
>>955446488started to realize that the feelings eventually go away, even if it takes a loooooong timeseems like something small but pleasant would eventually happen thatd start a sorta snowball effect of positivityive also started to practice gratitude regularly; just reminding myself of the many gifts ive been given over the years, no matter how seemingly insignificantwhen im feelin down in the depths the muscle memory of appreciation is still there
>>955453006You don't do any of this stuff
>>955453119?¯\_(ツ)_/¯?Your fortune: Better not tell you now
>>955443766>Anyone else contemplate suicide from a young age? No.But then again, I'm not insane.
