You often hear the argument that the average nudist isn't attractive, "the people at nude beaches are the last people you want to see naked". And like, yeah, that's kind of true, because the average person just isn't all that attractive. Real bodies aren't really all attractive. But I think that if you're able to accept other people's weird bodies, I think you're more likely to accept your own weird body.

If you look at like, Belgium and the Netherlands, two tiny countries that are next to each other, one of them has a single nude beach, while the other has nearly a hundred nude beaches. Belgium has a decent sauna culture these days but any outdoor nudity counts as public indecency in the laws, while the Dutch law explicitly says that naked recreation is allowed in suitable locations. Germany had a big nudist movement, and has places in some public parks where nudity is allowed.
