my coworker has a riced out arch install and its very pretty
he's in pure network services and doesnt need windows for any reason...so lucky him

there are many reasons this is true, i've really tried to do desktop linux and i always have to go back
an alternate solution is to use a windows VM but even then depending on what you are trying to do sometimes you need physical windows hardware...it just happens
and if you install WSL then you've got a quick and easy linux terminal for all the things that are missing from Windows
