Horizontal joists for the picture frame deck border are almost one. Just need to do the joists for the right side lower level than I can saw down flush the stubborn nails sticking out of the joists that I was unable to remove with the drill or the wrecking bar. Then I can tape all the joists and then it's just waiting on the deck boards + matching screws to arrive. Then I can play with my new miter saw. Need to go get some roller stands to prop up the 20 ft boards while I cut and also need a few 8 inch screws to properly fasten the horizontal picture frame border joists, but it's all coming along. Then can go to the town and get the permit to build steps after the concrete gets poured.
