How would /pol/ feel about a Trainspotting tv series on Netflix?
>>
>>24443310
Depends, is it about the trains, or how autistic foamers can be?
>>
Scottish junkies are annoying.

Hello, Netflix
>>
Feels good to be clean from junk. It does get better :)
>>
>>24443310
I wouldn't watch it. Fuck kikes.
>>
>>24443310
Nah. I know too many people that got mixed up in pills and then slid into heroin and crack and meth. Most are dead or close.
>>
The movie was better than the book

honestly there's a lot of great filler-episode material in the novel by Irvine Welsh, and a natural cadence to how it flows from one characters perspective to the next, that it could be a very natural fit for like an actual series

you couldn't just like do a 3-6 episode miniseries though, if you're making it a tv show you gotta really go into the source material and bring some of these smaller plotlines to the surface
in the novel for example, the dead baby Dawn is introduced as a side character that some other characters aunt or whatever has, iirc, and it's not until later when she dies that you realise why Welsh set up that chapter like that, it seems irrelevant
the first chapter of the novel you could just adapt as it is for the first ten minutes of episode one and if you did it well, it'd be kino

you should probably ask /tv/ about it honestly

I never watched Trainspotting because I can't stand the sight of needles going into people's arms. I can watch the worst gore imaginable, but once there's a needle involved I'm out. I'm sure it's a great movie, but I can't bring myself to watch it.

its kinda strange how a lot of the people pushing troonerism towards kids seem to just be soibois. The troons seem to stick to warhammer or shit like TADC, whereas the deliberate, in-your-face propaganda comes from overweight jews (male or female).
>>
>>24443310
it wouldnt even register, you can go about anywhere in any state and there are areas/an area where you can just watch trainspotting play out in real time
>>
>>24443310
Bad. They would ruin it line they ruin everything else. They will turn it black and gay. And now, they'll probably put in open crossdressers too, since its about being high on drugs.
>>
>>24443320
Found the antivacxer itt
>>
>>24443310
Yes, except they OD on Fentanyl and the whole series is 10 minutes.
>>

honestly taking the trainspotting story and setting it in another locale blighted by addiction could work
it'd be risky as fuck, because fans of the original could reject it, ut I think essentially there's a shakespearian quality to the story in that you could take the actual *story* and events and characters and just set them in any place across time and the moral of the story would still be the same, and it'd still be a good story

I'd genuinely love to see something like that, but I don't know if it'd be good, could be shit and I could be way wrong
>>
>>24443327
Trainspotting but in opium-den china would be kinda neat.
>>
>>24443327
True, it should be set on /gif/ and about BBC.

>Trainspotting tv series on Netflix

I don't watch anything from netflix or disney.
>>
>>24443328
China had trains
abandoned train station as an opium den, bunch of imperial colonialists get stuck there pulling scams and avoiding work/the army while one of them tries to find a way to get the money to get off the opium and move to fiji or something
live like a fat cat with a hash farm

it'd take some doing but essentially hits the same notes

Why would I want to watch scots junkies shoot up?

>>24443327
Nah. 60% of why trainspotting was so cool was their accents. In the movie and the book, too.
>>
>>24443335
can't lie
I love the book, it's pretty amazing
if you spend too long reading it, it turns your inner monologue scottish
>>
>>24443310
Trainspotting (1996) was good. It should have been left there. But because film making and media in general is completely lacking originality and fixated with woke, they produce bullshit nobody wants to watch. So they set out to ruin everything that has already been made.
>>
>>24443336
Yep lol. Its a real immersive experience.
