The mass of single childless cat ladies is going to cause a massive problem with society-wide ramifications. The beginnings are already starting to happen, with millennial women reaching middle-age and the older cohort officially reaching the point of no longer biologically having the ability to produce children. The course was set in stone a decade ago when many of them refused to have kids back then, but they could still delude themselves into thinking "one day". That can work when you're 30 and single, but not when you're 40+ and single. Now they're all having to come to terms with their fate.It's already starting to have effects. Look at how there's become this big stigma over "age gap relationships" now, when throughout history this was totally normal. And the stigma is only ever about dating younger women. They never show any issue with women dating younger men. Or even old men in their 50s dating women in their 30s. It's specifically about men who are dating women in their 20s. Obviously the whole thing is about millennial women in their 30s screeching and panicking that they're getting passed over. And that is a mild effect of this whole situation. It's going to get way worse in the future. The giant number of childless old spinsters is probably going to collapse society at some point.
